Experience Through Their Eyes

Second visit. 2026. Took some fellow foodies and they too were seriously impressed. Food is amazing they definitely stretch the palate in a good way! The flavors are incredible and deep. We had several appetizers, menu pictures included. The wood fired parsnips was the star! Shockingly delicious. We had the salmon quite possibly the best I have ever eaten. One got the chicken which was delicious. Another had the bison which was reportedly very tasty and tender and juicy. Desserts amazing. Absolutely. Outstanding place to eat. They serve locally sourced food and they have an uncanny knack for making food that is deep in flavor and will stretch your palate the array of flavors can't be beat. First visit in 2025 Tiny, noisy, busy! Make a reservation Or don't go, you'll wait a long time. Very limited hours and days. Food is simply amazing., appetizers. Focaccia bread good, wood fired Butternut squash with pesto and pomegranates, very unlikely combination, incredibly delicious! Wood fired cabbage also very good Hangar steak incredible. I tried the sea bass , it wasn't my preference, they were very accommodating and offered any other entree I chose the steak, she suggested the pasta which we were told was very good. The desserts incredible. Butterscotch pot o whatever. Fantastic! Shareable. The pie with a pecan crust not even sure what it was but it was very tasty! Go. It is in tiny town America. Our waitress was Katy wife of one of the amazing chefs. She was wonderful. Next door is a neat store with all sorts of cool stuff, it is deep with lots of little rooms, twists and turns and very friendly.

Went with a larger group. We all shared most of the starters. I had the salmon and it was great. I usually have pics, but the food was so delicious and went quick. Also the butterscotch dessert was phenomenal. I'm not a big butterscotch fan, but this had a salty caramel flare and was great. Best place in town!!!

We went to Cafe Mir for Taco Tuesday literally the day after it was recommended to us... friends told us to go ASAP and we did! We were not disappointed. The tacos and quesadillas were amazing! Bold flavors and great combinations-- the chicken in salsa negro was a highlight! Better yet was the amazing staff and atmosphere! You can go to Cafe Mir to celebrate big events and for a quiet dinner with amazing surroundings! 10/10 we will be regulars here!

We visit Cafe Mir several times a year and always have amazing food and service! Taco night is a must on Tuesday's (chicken and fish shown) including their margaritas, and when they weather is nice you can eat outdoors or get take-out and walk across the bridge to the park. Great atmosphere! Just had dinner there last night and the salmon was amazing(pictured), the best I've ever had! We also shared a bottle of wine and took home some Pecan Pie. Prices are reasonable, you could even say cheap for the quality and taste of food. You will not be disappointed. Props to the chef Josh, and the wonderful staff!!
